Nigel Rittey

Nigel
Rittey is an aviation sketch artist who
works only in pencil on cartridge paper.
A Zimbabwean, who now lives in Dubai, he has had
a love of
things with wings since he was a small boy. He spent seven years
as a member of the Rhodesian Light Infantry where, as a "Troopie"
on the ground, he had a lot of contact with what were known as "the
blue jobs" (Rhodesian Air Force) who he envied for their ability
to be back in the pub knocking back cold "Castles" within
an hour or two of them flying over his head.
He flies, designs and builds radio controlled planes and pencils
his sketches with a passion and the eye for detail which becomes
evident in his
works.
Contact
the artist for commission work.
